Castle House

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Castle House

Built primarily of locally quarried Grandfather stone and heavy timber, the owners’ program dictated an up to date castle design with an open floor plan, large arched windows and gothic stone arches dominating the exterior/interior design.

The main level spaces are accentuated by large vaulted and timber ceilings with interior balconies overlooking the beautiful views and landscaped grounds. Prominent features include a grand foyer and staircase, custom fireplaces and antique mantles, stained-glass panels, gothic style doors, waterfall in the master shower, theater room, screen patio with summer kitchen and stone fireplace, and an elevator.

The products and materials selected for use in the residence help to further enhance the gothic motif and design of this modern-day castle home.
