House on the Hill

View was key to the placement of this house on the property and the total low-profile design concept. The home is designed and built in harmony with nature using heavy timber, stone, bark and natural wood siding.

Natural light also played an important role during the design process. Expansive windows and doors open onto the covered decks, creating a tranquil and relaxing setting. Interior and outdoor living areas are designed to maximize social time and scenic views of Grandfather Mountain.
